Play-by-Play: Super Boy in Action

Ever since Aidan was old enough to walk (or, rather, run), one of his favorite Daddy-games was what he calls "crash." Our almost-two-year-old boy would run toward his Daddy, leap into his outstretched hands, and go soaring as his super-strong Daddy lifted him upward and over, depositing him with a "crash" on the couch behind. Over, and over, and over, and over ...

Aidan is now over 5 years old ... and "crash" is still one of his favorite games. I'm amazed at Don's strength, now lifting a 44-pound boy, up and over, onto the couch behind him. I was asked to take his picture last night, so here is what a Super Boy looks like in action: The thrill of success -- flight accomplished. I hope he holds on to that joyful imagination for a long, long time.
